Made of heat and chemical resistant plastic, the Plastic Cascade Mini Ring not only changes the traditional isometric and diameter, but also changes the tapered cuff on one edge. The ring-spoke construction and preferred vertical orientation provide high mechanical strength allowing use in deep beds.
Because its largest opening is mainly in the direction of gas-liquid flow, shortening the distance for gas to pass through the outer surface of the wall, multiple sizes provide the ability to optimize capacity and efficiency according to application requirements. The resistance of air passing through the bed is reduced, and the air gap is increased. The aspect ratio is 1:2. It can reduce the resistance of gas and increase the gas-liquid contact area. It has high void ratio, low pressure drop, low height of mass transfer unit, high overflow point, uniform gas-liquid contact, small specific gravity and high mass transfer efficiency. Lower pressure drop, higher operating efficiency, as the preferential orientation ensures vertical rather than horizontal orientation on most ring surfaces, which also facilitates mass transfer. The preferred vertical orientation of the packing axis allows free flow of gas through the packed bed. Improved fouling resistance, low pressure drop and high capacity allow smaller column diameters and blower sizes to be used in new installations. Plastic Cascade Mini Ring with good Fouling Resistance
Plastic cascade mini ring is a type of high performance plastic random packing. Its vertical axis orientation allows more fluids to pass through the cylinder. Solids are easily washed away by the fluids. Therefore, plastic cascade mini ring has good fouling resistance. It is characterized by low aspect ratio, good corrosion resistance and excellent separation effect. Plastic cascade mini ring has larger capacity and higher efficiency than plastic pall ring.
This type of tower packing can be made from various corrosion resistant materials, such as polypropylene, polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride. Compared with metal cascade mini ring, it has better corrosion resistance and lower costs. Plastic cascade mini ring is fit for the desulfurization, decarbonization and crude oil separation system. It is widely used in absorption, extraction, scrubbing, stripping and heat transfer applications.
