The metal flat ring tower packing is composed of various materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel 304, and 304L. It has symmetrical inwardly curved arc-shaped fins, large flux, low pressure drop, high mass transfer efficiency, high operational flexibility, and simultaneous separation Good durability, cold resistance and heat resistance, long service life. Metal super mini ring (SMR or named flat ring) random tower packing, is especially suitable for relative flow movement of liquid-liquid phase, and lessens agglomeration of dispersed droplet cluster. The mode of symmetrical inflexed arced fins will have good impact on the flowing homogeneity of liquid, promote the cyclic process of dispersion, convergence and redispersion of droplet cluster, effectively reduce the axial back-mixing of packing layer, and improve the mass transfer efficiency of liquid to liquid. Super Mini Ring (SMR) generally made of metal, like Stainless steel 304, 304L, 410, 316, 316L, carbon steel. The height-to-diameter ratio of the inner arc rings without ladder central flanging is 0.2-0.4. The strength of the packing is improved by the inner arc ring which arrange orderly when random heaped. The inner arc rings are of reasonable great structure, low pressure drop, ameliorative processing capacity and mass transfer performance. Fluid on the small resistance, and to provide gas, liquid contact with the surface, which has improved the packing of fluid dynamics and mass transfer properties. Therefore, the inner arc ring packing is the packing of large flux, low pressure drop, high mass transfer efficiency and large elasticity of operation.
Super Mini Ring (SMR) packing, its unique structure, excellent performance, has been successfully used in lubricating oil and phenol-formaldehyde refined sugar, aromatic extraction, a liquefied gas desulfurization to reverse extraction aromatics, cracked gas and waste water treatment devices, such as washing device.
